You feel like home.

a1.jpg
There is so much value in avoiding the trap of trend chasing. Who are you without exposure to the world via social media? That's what your home should reflect. Your home is a space for you and your family. It should not be styled with outsiders in mind, other than the number of seats available for hosting. It should not drastically change year after year or season after season. It should not imitate the homes of countless others. And, it certainly should not be furnished on credit.

My home decor services differ from others, starting with the fact that I work with my
clients to formulate a realistic savings plan to fund their home makeover. We discuss what can be reused from their current inventory, seek donations from family and friends, create a thrift store scavenger list, exhaust my partners' discounted new items, and settle on shopping at full retail price as a last resort. This process, combined with extensive mood board analysis, ensures that our clients are left with a home that feels sufficient, collected, and uniquely them. All while providing high functionality, requiring minimal maintenance, and leaving them with money in the bank.

"Let your home be a reflection of your heart -- warm, inviting, and full of life."

Sometimes you don't need new or more stuff; you actually need less. Decluttering eliminates an average of 40% of unnecessary housework. This helps lower stress levels related to messes, incomplete tasks, and searching for misplaced items. You can save around $1,000 per year that you may be spending on external storage and gain back garage space for your car.

"Your income level doesn't have to limit your ability to provide a well-furnished home for your family."

I have always had a deep love and fascination for my family's unwanted possessions, especially those that were hand-me-downs from their parents. The charm and virtually indestructible quality of vintage and antique furniture particularly stuck out to me. It was the early 2010s, I was a teenager, and so beyond tired of seeing that espresso and black microfiber sofa that everyone and their dad owned.

THE PROCESS

1. Decluttering & Organizing

In many cases, we start and end with a simple weekend of decluttering and organizing. You may be surprised to find that you already own everything you want and need. Add a little trip to the thrift store for some final decorative touches and you're set!

2. Donate, Sell, Consign

Hosting a yard sale can be a fun way to earn extra cash and doubles as a family-bonding experience. If you don't have the time, energy, or will to host your own sale, you can consign with us, or simply donate your unwanted furnishings.

3. Decorate

We will spend several days exploring, defining, and refining your aesthetic. Every household member will be involved to ensure the changes are family-friendly and cohesive. Once sourcing, refurbishing, and shopping are done, the actual transformation is typically completed in a day. Our clients can choose to be a part of the labor team or be surprised, staying away from home until the final reveal.
